EU storage and controlled processing
Silestis keeps account data, transcripts, and retained playback media inEU-configured storage. Transcription and other AI features use vetted providers under data processing agreements and appropriate international transfer safeguards. Some AI processing may take place outside the EU; details are documented in our Privacy Policy.
Source files deleted by default
Once a transcription finishes, the source audio file is deleted by default. What stays in your account is the useful output — the transcript, AI notes, chapters, flashcards, and chat history. If you explicitly enable Keep playback copy, a compressed playback version is retained within your plan limits.
Your content is not our training data
Silestis does not sell your content or use it to train its own models.Selected AI providers process content only to provide the feature you request, subject to their data processing terms described in our Privacy Policy.

Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your transcripts is gated to your account, and shared links are only accessible to people you explicitly share them with.
