Cancellation and Withdrawal Notice for Consumers

This cancellation and withdrawal notice applies to consumers to the extent they have a statutory cancellation, withdrawal, termination or similar right under mandatory consumer law that applies to them. It applies in particular to consumers who are habitually resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area.

If you are habitually resident in the United States of America, we grant you a statutory 14-day EU/EEA-style withdrawal right only if mandatory law that applies to you requires it or if we expressly promise it during the order process. Mandatory consumer rights under the law of your state, including rules on automatic renewals, cancellation mechanisms, refunds or unfair business practices, remain unaffected.

1. Right to cancel or withdraw

If you have a statutory right to cancel or withdraw, you have the right to cancel or withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation or withdrawal period will expire fourteen days after the day on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right to cancel or withdraw, you must inform us

of your decision to cancel or withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or by letter sent by post. You may use the model cancellation form attached below, but it is not obligatory.

If we provide an electronic cancellation or withdrawal function on our website or in your account, you may also use that function. If you use this option, we will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation or withdrawal without delay on a durable medium, for example by email.

To meet the cancellation or withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel or withdraw before the cancellation or withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of cancellation or withdrawal

If you validly cancel or withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel or withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

3. Start of performance during the cancellation or withdrawal period

If you expressly request or consent that we begin providing a paid digital service before the cancellation or withdrawal period has expired, we may provide Silestis during that period.

If you then validly cancel or withdraw from the contract, we may charge you an amount that is proportionate to the service provided until you informed us of your cancellation or withdrawal, but only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you and only if we obtained the required information, consents and acknowledgements.

For ongoing subscriptions, the service is not treated as fully performed merely because you first use it. It is generally treated as provided over the relevant billing period. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

4. Credit add-ons

Credit add-ons may also be subject to a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right to the extent you have such a right under mandatory consumer law that applies to you.

If you use or consume add-on credits at your express request before the cancellation or withdrawal period expires, the reimbursement may be reduced proportionately according to the ratio of used credits to purchased credits, but only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you and only if we obtained the required information, consents and acknowledgements.

5. No limitation of mandatory rights

Nothing in this notice limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law of the country in which you are habitually resident.
